Overview: 

• In Drawing and Painting 1, students will be able to create their own style of work that demonstrates an understanding of a range of drawing and painting methods throughout the year. 

• In Drawing and Painting 2, students will complete similar works while concentrating and investigating a specific visual idea that will develop over time within the course.

• Students research will include the exploration of formal elements, artistic principles and critical vocabulary.

• Both year 1 and year 2 students will develop a portfolio that highlights their understanding of art and their accomplishments throughout the year.
