Overview : 

• In Ceramics 1, students will explore a wide range of techniques working with clay throughout the year.

• In Ceramics 2, students complete similar works while concentrating and investigating a specific visual idea(s) that will develop through the year.

• Student research will include the exploration of the formal elements, artistic principles, and critical vocabulary.

• Both year 1 and year 2 students will develop a portfolio that highlights their understandings and accomplishments.
